A reputable Pharmaceutical company seeks the services of a results and goal-oriented Personal Assistant/Secretary to join our team
POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
- Provide full administrative and secretarial support at a senior level to the Managing and Executive Director to ensure the smooth management of the day to day affairs of the office
- Keep and maintain an accurate record of documents and electronic correspondence on behalf of the Managing Director
- Typing of correspondence and scanning documents
- Manning the reception when necessary
- Arranging the office of the MD/Director to ensure that the office is tidy and orderly at all times
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
An HND or a 1st degree in any Social Sciences from a recognized institution with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Excellent typing skills, speed and accuracy are essentials
- Good computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional telephone manners
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Flexible and mature approach with ability to work with little supervision
- Good interpersonal relationship
- Demonstrates high sense of confidentiality
- A good deal of common sense, etiquette and an ability to think on one’s feet
