National Partner Organization(s) for Jointly Conducting a Study on Women’s Empowerment and Rights in Ghana and Rwanda
Human Development Research Centre (HDRC) is looking for two national/local partners (NP) in the form of consultancy firms or research organizations/institutions (one in Ghana and another in Rwanda) with a strong women’s rights focus as well as experienced in collecting computer aided data collection system (i.e., CAPI), conducting qualitative date acquisition along with preparation detailed long hand notes and preparation of their English Transcripts from respective national languages.
HDRC is expecting from the potential National Partners that each of them (i.e., NP from Ghana as well as NP from Rwanda) will provide the principal applicant (HDRC) with National Consultant experienced in leading study on socio-economic development or Women Rights and Women Development in respective countries (at least 4 years), recruit and train the field enumerators (experienced in collecting quantitative as well as qualitative data), collect both quantitative and qualitative data, and provide HDRC clean data set (quantitative data), and English Detailed Transcripts of qualitative information.
Job description for National Partner Organization
(a) Assist in selection of study locations, (b) recruit field staff, (c) provide training to field staff, (d) provide administrative and logistical support to field staff during data collection, (e) ensure data/ information quality, and (f) deliver clean data set along with English transcripts of information generated through key informant interviews, in depth interviews and focus group discussions.
Organization must have registration in respective countries and minimum 4 years of research experience.
Required Qualification of National Expert/ Consultant
Must be at least graduate in Sociology/Gender Studies/Anthropology/Social Welfare/ Economics/ Statistics or any other discipline related to Social Science with 4 years of research experience.
